Reunion 2008 Recap
Many thanks to the Reunion Planning Committee for a successful June 2008 Reunion. The Reunion week-end had perfect weather for the 107th gathering of The Alma College International Alumnae Association based in Port Stanley. The June 2008 Reunion was a great success with about 115 attending the event in Port Stanley. Of course there was a sad undertone with Alma having burned to the ground shortly before the reunion, but what was and is most important are the memories.
A large number of Alumnae who graduated 50 years ago (Golden Girls) were reunited for the first time with their former classmates and friends. This was surely the highlight of their week-end. They came from as far away as Sweden, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, different parts of United States, Maritimes and across Ontario.
Reunion 2009
Reunion 2009 will be held on the weekend of June 5-7 at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in London, Ontario. Details of the reunion are below. We look forward to seeing old friends and new. Tell other people you're coming, and they will come too!

We will kick off the reunion on Friday June 5th with dinner at 6:30 pm at a local London restaurant. Interested alumnae will gather in the Bentley's Lounge at Four Points by Sheraton. Please let us know on the registration form if you would like to attend. Order from the menu and pay for your choices. You will be responsible for the cost of this meal.
Join us for cocktails after in the Bentley's Lounge.
The business meeting and luncheon will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton London at 1150 Wellington Road South, London, Ontario N6E 1M3, call them at 519-681-0600.
Registration is at 10:00 am in the Balmoral Room, with coffee and morning snacks provided. A collection of exhibits will be on display as well as Alma souvenirs. Get there early and spend time visiting with fellow alumnae, catch up on the past year and learn more about the trip to Bermuda in April 2009.
The business meeting will begin at 10:30 am. Althought there was an election last June and Lois Drinkwalter was elected President, in November 2008, she was not able to continue her responsibilities and offered her resignation. As a result, we will be holding elections for the President position for a one year term 2009-2010. Are you willing to volunteer your time or know an alumna who does? Buffet Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm and will be followed by group photos at 1:45 pm.
In the afternoon, alumnae will have an opportunity to reunite and share stories. Visit with alumnae in the hospitality suite, shop at White Oaks Mall across from Four Points, or drive to St. Thomas.
At 5:30 pm, we will gather for cocktails and dinner at
a local restaurant. After dinner, join alumnae in the Hospitality Suite.
On Sunday morning, we will enjoy Brunch at the Tuscany Restaurant in the Four Points by Sheraton at 10:00 am. This delicious meal caps off the weekend.
Space has been reserved for alma alumnae at Four Points by Sheraton London: 1150 Wellington Road South, London, Ontario N6E 1M3. You are asked to register as soon as possible to ensure accommodations for our special weekend. No guarantee that space will be available after May 1, 2009. Please book early!
Each room has two queen beds. Price per room is $118 plus taxes -- please note that they might change. Phone call them at 519-681-0600 and mention the Alma College reunion.
If you are arriving in London by plane, bus, or train, please indicate this on your registration form and we can arrange to have an alumna pick you up and take you to your hotel.
