Alumnae Trip to Bermuda, 2009

Thank you, Bermuda Alumnae!

This is what we said as we departed Bermuda and we say it again now.

How do you say 'Thank You' one hundred thousand times, in a moment or two? Thank you to each and every Bermudian Alma lady we had the pleasure to meet this past week. You are happy, friendly, kind, generous and caring people. We love your island and we love your people. You have made us feel very special!

The time you spent with us this week will certainly enhance the memories we are sharing from 30, 40, 50 and 60 years ago at Alma College.

This wonderful week of friendship and fun (not to mention the delicious food) has simply flown by and I'm not sure any of us are looking forward to returning to reality. Again, we say to you all, our never-ending thanks.

Thank you Canadians (and Ms. Arizona too) for making this Reunion trip to Bermuda a complete success. We have been mostly on the receiving end of help, happiness, enjoyment and thrills at every turn.

When Patty (Coutts) Kirby told me Air Canada changed her travel plans which included an extra day, Patty said, “I just consider it another day in paradise!”

This journey to Bermuda has been a fascinating experience, a fabulous adventure; beyond anything we ever expected.

Each of these past seven Bermudaful days has truly been a perfect week in paradise.

We all say to each one of you - a huge and heartfelt thank you for your friendship and Alma love.
