Welcome to
Alma College International Alumnae Association

Alma College in St.Thomas, Canada was a private boarding school for girls, founded in 1877. The school ceased operations in 1988 and formally closed in 1994. Sadly, on May 28, 2008, the main building was destroyed by fire, yet its spirit lives on in its many alumnae and their accomplishments.

Alma Alumnae Scholarship

The Scholarship Committee for 2009/2010 came to an unanimous decision to award the first Alma College Alumnae Scholarship to a graduating female student at Parkside Collegiate in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Erin Beaulieu is the first recipient of the Alma College Alumnae Scholarship. Pat (Duncan) Meathrell (64-69) & Lynda (Prong) Jenner 64-65 presented it in the amount of $500.00 on October 7, 2010.

The Alma College International Alumnae Association promotes continued fellowship among its members.
It cultivates close ties between past students, teachers and staff of Alma College through communication, reunions and networking.

Today, the Alma Alumnae still hold an annual reunion in the spring in and around the St.Thomas area.
Check out the Alumnae annual newsletter.
